JackRabbit Presents Thursday Night Bricks: Sign up
at Jackrabbit for our most popular training activity. These coached
bike/run workouts will begin at 7PM on July 22nd. Register at
Jackrabbit in Brooklyn. Only $60 for 10 weeks.
Brooklyn Training Weekend, August 5-9th in
Waitsfield VT. Enjoy a long weekend in training paradise for only $100!
Space is limited. We will be based out of an incredible house, complete with hot tub. Contact Tony for more information.

Members Only Wednesday Night Bricks: 3rd Ave
entrance to Prospect Park. Rotating
workout leaders will watch your shoes while you bike starting at
7PM; Bike watch
begins at 7:30PM at the 3rd Ave. Please be respectful to our volunteers and return from your run
by 8:15 (or later if the workout leader expressly notes this).
JackRabbit Presents Thursday Night Bricks: Sign up
at Jackrabbit for our most popular training activity. These coached
bike/run workouts will begin at 7PM on April 30th. Class is full.
Tuesday Morning Rides: Come out for 4-5 loops of Prospect
at the crack of dawn. Meet at the
grassy triangle inside Grand Army Plaza at 5:55 am. Skill level is
beginners and intermediate riders. Please check your bike before you
come out for the ride. Helmet required, spare tube and air preferred.
Members only. There's a season-long competition for participation,
so be sure to email Jose after the ride to confirm your presence. Rain cancels if it's pouring anytime after 5:45am.
Ride continues in slight drizzle, sputtering rain. Leader: Jose.
Tuesday Night Runs: This run is for all levels
of runners. Length is approximately 5 miles. Meet at Grand Army
Plaza at 7 PM. Leader: Alex Villari.
Wednesday am Swim: 7am. This swim is led by Jon Blyer and takes place at the Dodge Y or Red Hook Pool. Jon will provide
the workout. Contact him if you plan on attending.
Saturday Rides , Long Saturday rides start the first Saturday in May. Look for more details next week.
Races
Send in your Race Reports! Give us the scoop on a race you
completed - what was the terrain like, race organization, who were
the pros who showed up, etc. Share your funny or inspiring stories. Email the story of your race to news@brooklyntri.org. Check out our archived library of race reports here.
Membership
Dues are due! Only $40 a year gets you a ton
of training, discounts, and camaraderie. You must be a member (paid
and completed the registration form) in order to attend organized
workouts unless otherwise noted. To join, click here. For membership questions, please
contact our Alex Villari or Phil Noyes of our Membership Committee.
Uniforms: The orders are in! Stay tuned.
Member Cards: If you have paid your membership, you can
pick up your membership card in about a week at the Brooklyn
Jackrabbit store.
Send in your pictures! You might have noticed
we've been bulking up the website, www.brooklyntri.org, and we
could use some of your pictures. Send your race/training photos to emilynyc@gmail.com, or post
them on our Yahoo! site.
