Who we are:
We are the only triathlon club serving the needs of the Brooklyn
community. The Brooklyn Tri Club's mission is to foster the sport
of triathlon (swimming, bicycling, and running) in Brooklyn and the
greater New York area by educating the general public about the
sport, including its health and other benefits, to foster amateur
multisport competition and recreational activities. We support our
members with group workouts, educational workshops, and social activities.
Our diverse membership includes teachers, lawyers, artists,
architects, bankers, students, mothers, fathers, and people of all
ages. Many members are active in the community. We are athletes
of a variety of performance levels, from top finishers in international,
national and local events to those who are new to the sport. We
are involved in these sports as athletes, advocates, mentors, and
coaches. We welcome all persons
interested in multisport as members.
We offer members:
- Regular Training: Rides, runs
and bricks in Prospect Park, organized long rides on Saturdays,
summertime swims at Brighton Beach;
- Monthly bar nights;
- Monthly speakers;
- Tons of discounts with our sponsors
